Power Outage Notices

Like the co-op’s Facebook page!  It’s a great way to use your smartphone to learn about outages and about many programs at the co-op, including Washington Youth Tour, scholarships and rebates.

VIEW OUR LIVE OUTAGE MAP: Here you can find automatic outage updates. The map is divided by zip code, and each color represents a different estimate for how many members are currently experiencing an outage. (The color key is at the bottom of the map.) *

To report an outage call 1-800-648-4729. Do not call the local lineman.

When you report an outage, give your name and location number. Your location number is located in the lower left hand section of your bill.

Before calling, be sure to check your fuses or circuit breakers and to see if your neighbors are without power as well. There is always someone on duty to take outage calls, and you may call at any time.

*If you are having problems viewing the outage map:

For Internet Explorer users, a dialogue box will pop up that says "Do you want to view only the content that came up securely?" In which case you would press the "No" button. (It won't hurt your computer.) If you are using Google Chrome, look on the left side of the white URL bar next to the "Favorites" star. There will be a shield icon. Click it, and say that you want "Load Unsafe Script." The map is perfectly safe and will not harm your computer. Please contact Erin Murphy at MJM (217-854-3137) if you need assistance.
